![]() ![]() ![]() matching pair of vintage 2A3 RCA power tubes (circa late 1940's).If someone would like, after paying for the amp, I can wire the volume and balance pots back into the circuit without problem. I have the volume and balance pots bypassed because I didn't want them in the signal path and I used the amp with a nice pre-amp with a remote (which I recommend you do). As a point of comparison, this amp is louder than my First Watt F6 when I compared them head to head - the F6 is 25 watts 8ohms and 50 watts 4ohms. If your speakers are reasonably efficient (such as 90db) you can fill a medium sized room with music, easily. This Stereomour II is 3.5 watts per channel of true triode magic (just to clarify - that is three and a half watts). Here is your chance to experience the magic of a SET amp for a fraction of the cost you would normally have to spend. This is a Bottlehead Stereomour II - a Direct Heated Single Ended Triode amp with vintage RCA and current production Sovtek 2A3 power tubes, plus NOS GE 12at7 driver tubes. ![]()
